Planning
The West Milwaukee Plan Commission meets on the second Tuesday of the month unless otherwise posted. The Plan Commission reviews plans and recommendations for a comprehensive zoning ordinance for the village, hold public hearings, and reviews final plans and recommendations to the village board.
The Plan Commission may employ expert advice upon the authority of the village board if an appropriation is made by the village board and may have made maps showing proposed additions to or changes in the plan of the village. The Commission may request assistance from any official, department, board or agency of the village.
The Plan Commission shall keep written records of its proceedings, which shall be open to inspection at all reasonable times.
