Welcome to the West Milwaukee Police Department.  The department has 19 sworn personnel, 5 full-time clerk/dispatchers and 1 part-time clerk/dispatcher dedicated to the delivery of personalized high quality police services.

Our broad philosophy is to protect and support individual rights while at all times providing for the security of persons and property within the community.  It is our duty to operate as a Public Service Organization

The department provides 24-hour police coverage that includes  its own communications and 911 public safety answering point.  Specialized services include crime prevention, DARE officer and middle school liaison officer.

Walk-in hours for open records, motor vehicle accident reports, fine payment, licenses, and permits are:

Monday—Friday 7:00 am to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
