DPW Hiring Equipment Operator/Laborer Position

The Department of Public Works is hiring for an Equipment Operator/Laborer.
Immediate Supervisor(s): DPW Superintendent
JOB SUMMARY
Operates light to heavy motorized equipment in support of Public Works Department operations, including road, sanitary, and storm maintenance, construction, and snow and ice control. Performs routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance, assists with manual labor tasks, and follows established safety procedures. Work is performed outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions and requires the ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public.

The front door will remain open 24/7 to file police reports or post bail.

Milwaukee County “Building Bridges” Small Business Grants

Thanks to funding from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), Milwaukee County is offering $10,000 grants to eligible small businesses located within the county.
