Proclamation of State of Emergency

As of March 16th, at 6:00 p.m., President John Stalewski, Chief Elected Official of the Village of West Milwaukee, declared a condition of State of Emergency and proclaimed until April 6th at 7:00 p.m. or such earlier time as a quorum of the Village Board convenes:

  • Authorization of emergency purchases of goods and materials
  • Authorization of emergency purchases of services
  • Authorization of hiring

This State of Emergency is in relation to the 2019 novel Coronavirus outbreak (“COVID-19”), which the World Health Organization designated as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern and the United States Health and Human Services Secretary declared a Public Health Emergency for the entire United States.
